A jammous curiously approaches a humvee belonging to Company B "Bayonets," 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, in the Fedaliyah area of New Baghdad Sept. 2, 2008. Jammous are large water buffalo used by locals primarily for meat and milk. Approximately, 10 percent of the jammous population in Iraq resides in Fedaliyah.
