About 20 married couples attended an Army National Guard Strong Bonds marriage enrichment seminar, Sept. 5-7, 2008, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Old Town Alexandria, Va. It was led by chaplain, Lt. Col. Antonio Daggett. Strong Bonds is a chaplain-led seminar training concept that helps to build ready families by preparing, strengthening, and equipping them with tools for the stressors of military service. The Strong Bonds Program began in 1999, formerly known as Building Strong and Ready Families, and is now the central program of the Army chief of staff.
