Staff Sgt. John M. Chandler talks to high students about his experiences as an Army soldier during All American Bowl week at San Antonio's Alamodome, Jan. 1, 2014. Chandler, who is stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., discusses with the students the many career opportunities in the Army. Chandler, and nine other soldiers from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command are in San Antonio as soldier mentors to 90 of the nation's top high school football stars, along with 125 top high school marching band musicians and Color Guard members.
