Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 17 and Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 1st Marine Logistics Group, train with the M50 gas mask aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 6, 2014, to prepare for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear warfare threats with the M50 gas mask. Marines received training on conducting reconnaissance and identifying potential CBRN threats, operating equipment designed to protect personnel from chemical threats, and decontamination procedures to ensure they take necessary steps to ensure Marines do not become casualties.
