During the joint-at-sea capabilities demonstration aboard Military Sealift Command oceanographic ship USNS Pathfinder Merchant Marine Seaman Kyle Gibson prepares the depressor weight to be put in the water to help keep a side-scan sonar properly weighed down so that it is able to pick up sound pulses on the ocean's floor. During the demonstration, Pathfinder will be searching for Soviet-flagged hospital ship SS Armenia that was sunken during WWII.
