Chief Builder Billy Harger, originally from Pearl City, Hawaii, is the team leader of the 2014 Navy Misawa Snow Team. Harger and six other sailors are in Hokkaido, Japan, taking part in the 65th annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The team will attempt to sculpt this 6-foot by-6-foot block of snow into a frosty, 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of sailors to the festival to create a sculpture and to serve as U.S. Navy goodwill ambassadors.
