    An Ishikawa police officer escorts preschool children off a bus during a bilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise Jan. 29 at Camp Hansen. The exercise scenario, which was the first of its kind on Camp Hansen, was based on the aftermath of a devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Children acted as simulated evacuees for the exercise. After their simulated evacuation, the children were led to a safe location by first responders.
