Sgt. Maj. Anthony Cruz Jr., holds a paper rope in his hands as part of a demonstration during the Japanese Officer Exchange Program Jan. 22 at the Staff Noncommissioned Officer Academy on Camp Hansen. The program was developed to instruct top enlisted soldiers from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force on the Marine Corps way of approaching certain leadership topics.
