Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Rick Ward secures the boat trailer after helping launch a 25-foot small boat and crew into the Sabine River from the loading dock at the Marine Safety Unit in Port Arthur's Small Boat Facility, Sept. 15, 2008. The crew got underway to conduct a pollution response inspection along the river. Many boats used the dock as a staging area to launch boats carrying deployable containment boom to place around polluted areas.
