FUJAIRAH, United Arab Emirates (Oct. 21, 2005) Ã Sailors aboard the U.S. Navy dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) load a palate containing food and clothing donated to the people of Pakistan buy the citizens of United Arab Emirates (UAE). Pearl Harbor is in Fujairah to pick up 109 tons of food, water and other essential emergency supplies bound for earthquake relief efforts in Pakistan. The United States is participating in a multinational assistance and support effort led by the Pakistani government to bring aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Pakistan on Oct. 8, 2005.
