U.S. Navy Adm. Samuel J. Locklear, the commander of U.S. Pacific Command, gives remarks during the opening ceremony for Exercise Cobra Gold 2014 at Camp Akatosarot, Mueang district, Phitsanulok province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 11, 2014. CG 14 is in its 33rd iteration and is a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored exercise committed to improving regional partnership, prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region. Locklear ended by saying he looks forward to working together with our partner nations to forge a brighter future for the entire region; for themselves, their children and generations to come.
