Army Sgt. Aulton Purnell with C Company, 449th Aviation Support Battalion, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, 36th Infantry Division, prepares to take another shot at the second shooting task of the mystery event at the Texas Military Forces Joint Best Warrior Competition held at Camp Swift, near Austin, Texas, February 8, 2014. Competitors completed several physically taxing activities in order to move between four shooting tasks. The competition included competitors from the Air and Army Guard who participated in a variety of other challenges such as land navigation, an essay, review board appearance, a six-mile ruck march, confidence course, and weapons qualification.
