Corporal Joshua R. Gregory (left), a ground support equipment mechanic with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13, based out of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., was meritoriously promoted by the 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James F. Amos, at the station’s flight line on Thursday. Amos’ presence at the ceremony surprised Gregory, as did the additional award of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Marine of the Year.
