Royal Thai Marine Petty Officer 2nd Class Poramet Panpach sights in while providing security during a jungle patrolling training evolution Feb. 12 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. Royal Thai Marines and U.S. Marines are currently taking part in Exercise Cobra Gold, which is a multinational and multiservice exercise that takes place annually in the Kingdom of Thailand and was developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. The day’s training consisted of Royal Thai Marines and U.S. Marines practicing various jungle patrolling tactics, techniques and procedures. Panpach is a basic infantryman with 3rd Small Arms Company, 7th Battalion, 3rd Regiment, of the Marine Division.
