The Zamboni removes the top layer of ice and lays down hot water to create a flat surface free of imperfections for the sled hockey players to glide across in The Ice and Golf Center at Northwoods in San Antonio, Feb. 8, 2014. Players wait on the side of the rink for the Zamboni to leave the ice to begin their pre-game warm-ups. The warm-ups consisted of puck handling drills and quickly moving around the ice to get the blood flowing and allow their muscles to get loose. The San Antonio Rampage Sled Hockey Team started with seven players and has quickly gained popularity boosting the team roster to more than 25 players. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Pfc. Brian N.
