The sun falls over the U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility-New Orleans, off the coast of Key West, Feb. 8. The New Orleans and her crew of 14, assigned to the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat), 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), conducts a joint training mission with the Navy’s Underwater Construction Team-1, Naval Expeditionary Combat Command, from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Va. The 824th TC transported a team of Navy Divers to sea and provided them a platform to conduct annual underwater diver qualification training.
