A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) attached to Assault Craft Unit 4 approaches the beach during an off load from the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) Feb. 24. The Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group is deployed supporting maritime security operations, providing crisis response capability, increasing theater security cooperation and a forward naval presence in the U.S. Navy's 5th and 6th Fleet Area of Responsibility.
