Sailors from the Virginia-class submarine USS Texas (SSN 775) participate in The Great Aloha Run, an 8.15 mile run from Aloha Tower to Aloha Stadium on the island of Oahu as part of the Sounds of Freedom by singing cadence and running in formation. This annual run marked 30 years and over $10 million raised for over 150 non-profit health and human service organizations and community groups throughout Hawaii.
