Members of the South Carolina National Guard, Bravo Company, 198th Expeditionary Signal Battalion returned home from their nearly yearlong deployment to Afghanistan, March 1. Approximately 130 members deployed April 6, 2013, and have been returning in groups across the state since December. While deployed, the unit provided satellite communications support throughout Afghanistan as part of the theater network.
