Maj. Gen. Peter S. Cooke, Commanding General 96th Regional Readiness Command, signs a memorandum of agreement for the U.S. Army Reserve Employer Partnership Initiative with Maj. Gen. Keith L. Thurgood, Commander and CEO, Army and Air Force Exchange Service, during a signing ceremony at the Union League Club of Chicago, on Sept. 23, 2008. The signing ceremony expanded the Public-Private partnership that will create employment opportunities for U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers while providing Employer Partners with Soldier employees exhibiting Army values, experience and leadership skills.
