Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James F. Amos, was the keynote speaker at the commissioning ceremony for USS Somerset (LPD 25) at Penn's Landing, Philadelphia, Pa., March 1, 2014. USS Somerset is the newest San Antonio class amphibious transport ship and it was named to honor the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in Somerset County on September 11, 2001.
