Brigadier Gen. Vincent A. Coglianese, commanding general, 1st Marine Logistics Group, offers words of encouragement to Sgt. Erik A. Anderson, a motor vehicle operator with Headquarters Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, and his father Elmo Anderson, as they participate in the 2014 Western Division matches aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 5, 2014. Marines from CLRs 17, 1, 15 and 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st MLG, competed against approximately 200 Marines from throughout the west coast to prove their marksmanship skills with the M16 service rifle, the M4 carbine and the M9 service pistol , Feb 24 – March 7, 2014.
