Janelle Baron from the New Jersey Air National Guard’s 177th Fighter Wing “Jersey Devils” checks an F-16C Fighting Falcon prior to a flying mission March 6 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft which is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. Baron is a fighter pilot with the 119th Fighter Squadron.
