Devon Cole, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced), 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter mechanic and native of Carlsbad, Calif., greases the blades of a Super Stallion aboard the USS Bataan (LHD 5) as it passes through the Strait of Messina March 6, 2014. The MEU is deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
