Maj. Gen. Michael H. Shields gives the opening remarks at the U.S. Army Alaska Winter Games at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The games will test the soldiers and the units’ ability to execute required cold weather skills and tasks and build esprit de corps with tough, demanding and realistic training.
