Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Joseph Gilles fires a messenger line from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) to the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) during a replenishment at sea. Ashland is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
