The combined operations center stands on the parade deck at the 1st Republic of Korea Marine Corps Division Base in Pohang, Republic of Korea March 12. The COC will be used during Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2014 by the ROKMC and the III MEF Command Element. The COC and living facilities for MEFEX 14 were constructed by Marines with III MEF Headquarters Group. MEFEX 14 exercises the interoperability and combined capability of the ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces.
