Senior Airmen Gary Boston and Michael Castglie set up a tripod at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, March 10, 2014. The tripod is used as a safety measure to help lower an airman into a manhole. Inside the manhole, airmen from the 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron cable and antenna systems shop, or Cable Dawgs, maintain fiber optic cable used to run communication lines throughout the entire base. Both airmen are 379th ECS cable and antenna systems technicians. Boston is deployed from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., and an Oscoda, Mich., native. Castglie is deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan, and a Brooklyn, N.Y., native. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Hannah Landeros)
