Senior Air Craftsman Ben Wyatt, aircraft maintenance mechanic assigned to the 2430 Squadron, uses a wrench to perform maintenance on the undercarriage of a VC-10 Sept. 26, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The VC-10 is a dual-role air transport and air-to-air refueling aircraft capable of dispensing to two receiver aircraft simultaneously from two underwing probe-and-drogue pods. VC-10s assigned here refuel British and other coalition aircraft supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Wyatt, a native of Portsmouth, England, is deployed from Royal Air Force Lyneham, England.
