Members of the Alabama National Guard pound guide wire stakes in before erecting an antenna during their 2014 Communication Exercise in Pensacola, Fla. The 46th MPC and down trace units from Kentucky, Florida and Alabama National Guards, known as Task Force 46, gathered to validate a wide array of signal assets throughout the training weekend. Commander of the Task Force 46, Maj. Gen. Burton Francisco, met with the signal soldiers from each down trace unit to witness first-hand the communications capabilities that would be used during a real-world mission.
