A water pump draws water from the Euphrates River near the Haditha Dam. The water pumps are run by Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 1st Marine Logistics Group's Haditha Dam Forward Logistics Element water section and sit on a pier created by Marines to battle water level fluctuations. Each raw water pump can pull 10 thousand to 15 thousand gallons of water from the river every day.
