Marine combat engineers with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, cut lumber for a footbridge to be used by local citizens starting March 22. The bridge was built to be transported for an upcoming community relations project initiated by the chaplains of the 11th MEU. The 11th MEU is at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. conducting Realistic Urban Training Marine Expeditionary Unit 14-1 (RUTMEUEX) as part of their preparation for the deployment scheduled for later this year.
