Machinery Repairman 3rd Class Glen Moran from Queens, N.Y. fabricates deck drains using an 80-inch lathe aboard the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) March 15. Bataan is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
