U.S. Marines rappel from a 50-foot tower Australian style under the supervision of Republic of Korea Marine instructors March 18 during the Mountain Warfare Training Course at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The U.S. Marines participating in the course are with III Marine Expeditionary Force and are in the Republic of Korea in support of the Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2014. MEFEX 14 is a tribute to the maturity of the ROK and U.S. relationship and exercises the interoperability and combined amphibious capability of the ROK and U.S Marine Corps.
