Senior Chief Equipment Operator Lori Saville watches members of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Two Five (NMCB 25) use a skid steer backhoe to dewater the logistical support area (LSA) following a heavy storm during the NMCB 25 field exercise (FEX). Thanks to battalion’s efforts, the area was dewatered within a day and the exercise continued. The FEX gives the battalion members an opportunity to test their skills in a simulated combat environment. NMCB 25 is training for an upcoming deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
