For the training, explosive ordnance disposal technicians emplaced six simulated IEDs along a practice lane for identification by the handlers. Whited is an EOD section leader with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The military working dog handlers are with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
