Sgt. Joshua Mubarak, a fire support specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, fires an M9 at a target during a stress shoot March 20 at Fort Hood. The Houston native, and his four-man team competed in the 2014 Fort Hood Best Team Competition, which tests each team’s strength, wit and cohesiveness. The event started at 5 a.m. and ended late that night after a night land navigation course. The competition, which was hosted by 36th Engineer Brigade, had several events which included: a World War II Army physical fitness test, obstacle course, four-mile road march, M9 stress shoot, assembly of an M2 machine gun, filling out a range card, employing a claymore mine and a night land navigation course (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt.
