Ticonderoga-class Cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) steams through the East China Sea with ships from the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and Republic of Korea Navy, Commander Flotilla Five, during a photo exercise. Lake Erie is participating in Exercise Ssang Yong, an annual combined exercise conducted by Navy and Marine forces with the Republic of Korea in order to strengthen interoperability across the range of military operations.
