Marine Corps Installations East (MCI-East) hosted a relief and appointment where Sgt. Maj. Ernest K. Hoopii was relieved and Sgt. Maj. Paul A. Berry was appointed as the oncoming Sgt Maj. at the Geottege Memorial Field House aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 28, 2014. Many distinguished visitors attended the relief and appointment ceremony held at Geottege Field House that retired and awarded Sgt. Maj. Hoopii after 30 years of dedicated service.
