Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Walker, 376th Expeditionary Logistics Squadron, helps guide forklift driver, Tech. Sgt. Daryl Maniscalco, as he loads a pallet of food rations to a flatbed truck of humanitarian aid intended for survivors of an Oct. 5, 2008, earthquake in southern Kyrgyzstan. Airmen from Manas Air Base sent thousands of pounds of aid, Oct. 8, 2008, that included pallets of food rations, bottled water, surplus military cold weather gear and more than 120 boxes containing 3,000 pounds of adult and children's winter clothing, blankets and toys. A call for personal donations resulted in more than 40 Airmen donating their own blankets they deployed here with.
