Marines pause during a reconnaissance patrol in the Central Training Area March 27 as part of a field training exercise. In addition to patrolling operations, the training taught the Marines how a forward operating base functions, and how to execute bulk fuel operations in a deployed environment. The Marines are bulk fuel specialists with Bulk Fuel Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
