U.S. Marine 2nd Lt. Ryan Murray is tackled by a member of the Japan Self-Defense Force Naha Rugby Football Club March 29 during a rugby match on Camp Hansen. “It was an intense game,” said U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Folauhola Tupouata, a player with the Camp Hansen Kaiju and a maintenance management specialist with Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. “The highlight of the day was playing against the (Naha RFC); those guys can hit.” Murray is a platoon commander with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III MEF, under the unit deployment program.
