Sgt. Michael Estka, a Chicago native, holds a puppy he later donated to a boy during a patrol in the Ur neighborhood of northeastern Baghdad, Oct. 1, 2008. Estka, who serves with Company C, Task Force 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, which is currently attached to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, gave the puppy to a child whose father provided the patrol with information on a cache.
