An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Fighting Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Squadron 22 makes an arrested landing on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The F/A-18F Super Hornet is a strike fighter with significant growth potential and increased range, endurance and ordnance-carrying capabilities. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
