Seaman Pam Colon, center, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82), participates in a damage control drill aboard the ship as part of exercise Foal Eagle 2014. Foal Eagle is a series of annual training events that are defense-oriented and designed to increase readiness and maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula while strengthening the ROK-U.S. alliance and promoting regional peace and stability. Lassen is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
