Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyle Alhers wipes the condensation off the canopy of an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Fist of the Fleet" of Strike Fighter Squadron 25. As part of their morning routines planes captains wipe down and hand wash the aircraft to prepare them for the days of flight operations. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
