Spc. Hassan R. Tate, a food service specialist with the 368th Transportation Company, 11th Transportation Battalion out of Fort Eustis, Va., serves food to Spc. Rasheid J. Laster with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 593rd Special Troops Battalion, Expeditionary Support Command, at the Kenai Dining Facility during Alaska Shield 14 here, April 1, 2014. The 368th worked with other units to operate the dining facility, which was used to serve all personnel participating in the exercise. Alaska Shield 14 is an exercise that involves federal, state, local and military agencies, designed to test response and coordination efforts during a disaster and is modeled after the 1964 earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated Alaska.
