Pfc. Blake B. Dowling, honor graduate for platoon 1022, stands at parade rest before his graduation ceremony here, April 4, 2014. Dowling, a Lake Worth, Fla. Native, was recruited by Sgt. Cheops Dieujuste, a recruiter from Recruiting Substation Temple Terrace, Recruiting Station Orlando. Recruit training signifies the transformation of a civilian to a United States Marine. Upon graduation, the newly-minted Marines will receive ten days of leave before attending the School of Infantry East, Camp Geiger, N.C. The Marines will be trained in basic infantry skills to ensure that the Marines are combat ready. (Official Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. John-Paul Imbody)
