Col. Samir Shati Aziz, commander of the 3rd Battalion, 7th Brigade, 2nd Iraqi National Police Division, congratulates an Iraqi student, who won a lottery during a school pack distribution Oct. 12, 2008 at the Um Al Bahananh, Al Tahdi, Al Sedjad and Anbad Al Rahman schools in the Abu T'shir community of the Rashid district. Ten Iraqi students received 10,000 Iraqi dinars after finding a winning ticket in their brand new backpack distributed by Iraqi Security Forces. Soldiers of the 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, and Company D, 404th Civil Affairs Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, worked at the request of local neighborhood and community leaders to coordinate for the school supplies which were distributed Oct. 12-16 by the Iraqi security forces responsible for southern Baghdad's Abu T'shir, Saha, Mechaniks and Five Farms areas.
