David Banaka, a native of Oregon City, Ore., and a military police officer assigned to the 493rd Military Police Company, 476th Chemical Battalion, 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 416th Theater Engineer Command, reports unruly behavior in a cell in detainee operations training April 3 as part of Warrior Exercise 86-14-02 (WAREX). This event is a large scale multi-component collective training exercise designed to prepare Army Reserve and National Guard units for deployment.
